How to Use a Baby Nasal Aspirator

The process of using a baby nasal aspirator is broken down into five simple steps, but it is vitally important that you follow each step precisely to prevent injury. You may also want to ask for assistance while performing these steps.
Step 1 – First, hold the baby nasal aspirator at an angle using your index and middle finger on the top, with your thumb on the bottom (almost as if you were holding a syringe.)

Step 5 – Repeat steps until your baby’s nasal passage is clear.
If your baby’s nasal passage is severely congested, it may be helpful to use a humidifier or a hot shower first to loosen the mucus before suction.
